Auction Support

From the first auction lot review to safe collection and Europe–India shipping: Onery International GmbH helps buyers understand the machine, the auction conditions and the real cost of getting equipment home. Participation on your behalf is possible where permitted and expressly authorized.

Discuss your auction purchase
01

Before you bid

The hammer price is only one part of a machinery purchase. A lot can look attractive online while its removal route, collection deadline or missing accessories make the overall project much harder. We help you connect the auction opportunity to a realistic collection and transport plan before you commit.

Send the auction link, lot number, machine model, site address and sale date. We review available records, what is included, whether inspection is possible and what the seller says about condition and release. For metal- and plastics-processing machines, the important questions often concern actual assembly weights, access, electrical separation, oils, rigging and packing—not simply the catalogue headline.

One lot, several machines or an entire factory can be assessed. We agree the support scope in advance. A desktop review cannot prove internal condition or replace an inspection, and an inspection itself has limits depending on access and whether the machine can be powered or tested.

02

Inspection and removal feasibility

Where access is available, an agreed on-site assessment can examine visible machine identity and condition, major accessories, doorways, lifting access and the route to the loading area. We look at what the collection operation requires: permitted equipment, floor restrictions, working-factory traffic, connection responsibilities and the deadline for leaving the premises.

Photographs, nameplate records and available drawings are valuable, but they are not a warranty that a used machine will meet production requirements. Testing, technical specialists or a Chartered Engineer appraisal are separate tasks to be arranged where needed. We make the scope and limitations clear rather than calling every visit a full technical certification.

If dismantling is needed, survey the real loading units and plan for accessories, controls and auxiliaries. This is especially important for double-column machines, VTLs and large injection moulding machines, where machine dimensions alone do not determine the lifting method.

03

Participation on your behalf

If you need support participating in an auction, we can assist with the agreed registration and bidding process where the auction house permits representation. The arrangement requires written client authorization, clearly defined lots, a maximum bid and agreement on fees, taxes and payment responsibilities.

The platform may require its own buyer verification, deposit, power of attorney or approved account arrangement. These conditions must be checked for the actual sale. Never assume one auction house accepts the same representation process as another, or that a winning bid can simply be cancelled.

Onery is an independent support provider, not the auctioneer. We do not place autonomous bids through this website, guarantee a winning price or commit a client to a purchase without the agreed authority. Confirm the total approved budget and the limits of our role before participation.

04

Budget beyond the hammer price

Ask for the complete auction cost picture: hammer price, buyer’s premium, applicable taxes, deposits, payment deadlines and any export-document conditions. Then add inspection, dismantling, rigging, oil handling, packing, inland transport, ocean freight and destination costs. Auction tax treatment and refunds must be checked with the responsible professionals—not assumed from the buyer’s country.

Collection restrictions can create additional cost. A narrow appointment window, a compulsory removal contractor, limited forklift access or an unexpectedly large assembly may change the original estimate. Storage after the collection deadline can be expensive; check the exact sale terms rather than relying on a standard free period.

For Indian buyers, flat-rack and oversized cargo charges, terminal handling, customs examination, demurrage or detention and final delivery belong in the discussion before booking. We compare truck and direct container loading case by case and aim for safe packing without unnecessary overengineering. Prices and inclusions must be confirmed for the actual job.

05

After the winning bid

Once the purchase is confirmed, collection depends on seller release, payment confirmation, booked site access and the auction deadline. We coordinate the agreed work with the site and buyer so dismantling, lifting equipment and onward transport fit the same timetable. A deadline is not a reason to bypass safety.

We identify the purchased lots and included accessories, agree isolation and fluid responsibilities, plan the removal route and label the loading units. Multiple buyers working in one factory need coordinated access so contractors do not obstruct one another or disturb equipment outside their scope.

Loading photographs and videos document shipped CNC machinery. Package references and available machine records support the buyer’s shipment file. If a site restriction or changed condition makes the plan unsafe or impractical, we reassess and seek a revised arrangement before proceeding.

06

From a European auction to India

Indian import preparation starts while the machine is still accessible in Europe. We support the agreed gathering of machine identity, package dimensions, weights and loading information so the buyer and CHA can prepare the shipment file. Discuss the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and applicable used-machinery inspection or origin evidence before dispatch.

The carrier’s arrival manifest and the importer’s Bill of Entry are different responsibilities. Carrier data cut-offs can fall before vessel departure from the last foreign port; do not wait until two days before arrival to start collecting documents. The carrier and CHA confirm the current procedure for the actual cargo and destination.

Nhava Sheva/JNPA, Chennai and Mundra are among the Indian ports we discuss with buyers and their clearing agents. Route, cargo handling, final destination and all-in cost guide the choice. Export classification, dual-use/end-use restrictions and geopolitical route changes need review. Customs authorities retain control over inspection, valuation and release; our support is not a clearance guarantee.

Auction houses: examples, not affiliations

Maynards, Surplex, IVG, Troostwijk and Hilco are examples of auction houses through which machinery buyers may purchase equipment. Our support is not limited to these names: we can assess other auctions where you need help, subject to the sale terms, location, available access and our agreed assignment.

These names are mentioned solely to explain the kind of auction purchases we can support. Onery International GmbH is independent and does not claim partnership, endorsement or official representative status with these auction houses. Their names and marks belong to their respective owners. No auction-house logos are used here.

Rather than an exhaustive directory, we focus on the actual lot and collection problem. Send your auction link—even if the company is not named above—and we will assess how we can help. The machinery photograph on this page is a catalogue illustration, not evidence of an auction project carried out by Onery.

10 essential questions about auction support

Can you support purchases through Maynards and other auction houses?

Yes, we can assess independent support for Maynards, Surplex, IVG, Troostwijk, Hilco and other auctions. Feasibility depends on the sale terms, location, access and agreed task. These examples do not imply partnership or official representation.

Can you participate or bid on my behalf?

Where the auction permits representation, we can support the expressly agreed participation process. Written authorization, identified lots, bidding limits and responsibilities are required. Registration, deposits and identity checks remain subject to the auction house’s rules. No autonomous bidding takes place through this website.

What authorization and bidding limits are required?

Agree in writing who is represented, which lots are covered, the maximum bid and whether the approved budget includes premium, taxes and other charges. Confirm payment and deposit responsibilities and any platform-specific power of attorney. We must have clear authority before any purchase commitment.

Can you inspect a machine before the auction?

An agreed inspection can be arranged where the seller allows access and the timetable permits. The scope may cover visible condition, identification, accessories and removal feasibility. Functional tests, specialist diagnosis or engineering appraisal are separate and depend on permission and equipment availability. An inspection is not a warranty.

What should I check in the auction terms before bidding?

Check buyer’s premium, taxes, payment deadline, deposits, condition statements, included accessories and whether bids are binding. Review collection dates, site rules, required contractors, loading responsibilities and storage penalties. Ask for clarification before bidding if a condition affects your removal or export plan.

Which costs should I budget for beyond the hammer price?

Allow for auction premium and applicable taxes, inspection, dismantling, lifting, packing, local transport and freight. For India, add destination handling, customs-related costs and inland delivery, plus delay exposure under the carrier terms. Request written inclusions and exclusions; we do not use invented standard rates.

Can you arrange collection within the auction deadline?

We assess the deadline against release, access, dismantling work, equipment availability and transport. Confirm feasibility before the bid whenever possible. Tight deadlines cannot override safety; if the plan is unrealistic, seek an extension or reconsider the purchase before committing.

Can you support one lot, several lots or a complete factory purchase?

Yes, the scope can range from one machine to multiple production lines or complete factory machinery removal. We define the inventory, accessories, site interfaces and phased collection plan. Building demolition or destination commissioning is not automatically included.

Can you coordinate shipping and import preparation for India?

We connect the agreed dismantling and loading plan to container estimates, packing and shipment information for the buyer and CHA. Carrier deadlines, used-machinery evidence, export screening and destination charges are reviewed with the responsible parties. Customs clearance, duties and regulatory approvals are not guaranteed.

What should I send Onery to start?

Send the auction URL, lot number, machine make/model, photographs or records, site address, auction date, collection deadline and destination. Explain whether you want a review, inspection, authorized participation or complete removal/logistics support. We will clarify scope and feasibility before confirming the assignment.
